A Song From My Favourite Album - Day 19

My favourite album these days is, of course, ALL THAT ECHOES by Josh Groban.

Anyhoozle, this is a song from the Target version of ALL THAT ECHOES which has four more songs on it than the normal version. One of my favourite songs on this album is the one he does of Neil Diamond's PLAY ME.

She was morning, and I was nighttime,

And one day I woke up to find herLying beside my bed
I softly said, "Come take me."

For I've been lonely, in need of someone

As though I'd done something wrong somewhere

But I don't know where.
I don't know where.
Come lately.

You are the Sun

I am the moon.

You are the words.

I am the tune.

Play me.

Song she sang to me,
Song she brang to me,
Words that rang in me,
Rhymes that sprang from me,

Warmed the night, and what was right
Became me.

You are the sun.

I am the moon.
You are the words.

I am the tune.

Play me.

  2. Gorgeous post! That song is just perfect. :) You do such a great job with putting pictures to the lyrics that makes me think of the song in a new light. It's awesome.

See my comment box? Want to know a secret?

*whispers* It's actually a TARDIS comment box! If you write long enough, you'll see... it's bigger on the inside!

Isn't that cool?

Now that you know that, aren't you going to throw a comment in there? You KNOW you want to. :)
