TAG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awhile ago, Bella at To Say Nothing of Reality tagged me with what she thinks is the Liebster Blog Award.  The goal of this tag is to:
1.)  LIST 11 facts about yourself.
2.)  ANSWER 11 questions the tagger asked.
3.)  ASK 11 questions of those you tag.

Since I have done the Liebster Blog tag several thousand times already...
:-)

...I am, once again, going to cheat on this.

Source

Having cheated, I shall now faithfully answer Bella's questions, which are these:

1.) If you had a choice would you visit Rivendell or the Shire?
Um, um, um... the Shire.  I think the elves would expect more from me than the hobbits would.
Elves
 VS.
Hobbits

2.) Have you read The Ascendance Trilogy?
Yepparoony!
Source
3.) Do you tend to like the Villain BETTER than the hero? (This means in everything, mind you.)
Um... it really depends on the conflict in said villain, and the motivation driving them.  For the most part I think I tend to like the hero more than the villain.  I think...
Prison Break - Scofield vs. Mahone
4.) Are you a Tolkien Purist?
Yes.  IMHO, if there had to be a film adaption of the Hobbit, Peter Jackson should have made it a TV show and followed the book verbatim.  He wouldn't have had the urge to add all the unnecessary drivel that he did.
Source

5) Are you a Marvel fan or just an Avengers fan?
I would say mainly an Avengers fan.  I'm not much into Spider Man, I'm not sure about the upcoming Ant Man, and I don't know about Guardians of the Galaxy.  I do like Wolverine, but I don't think I really love all the X-men.
Avengers!

6.) What book are you reading RIGHT NOW, and is it good?
Right NOW right now?  Er...  My own.  I'm editing. :-)  I think it's good, but it could use some - lots - of work.
Source

7.) What is the first thing that comes to mind when think of trains?
MICHAEL AND SUCRE AND LINC EVADING RECAPTURE FROM BELLICK!!!!!!!
Source

8.) Have you ever had Vegan Chocolate? (If not, don't. DO NOT EVER.)
Thanks be to God, no.
Snickersnort

9.) Have you ever cried in the theatre?
Are you kidding?  The real question is, have I ever NOT cried in the theatre?  It's such a dark and private place, I can weep unashamedly.
Source

10.) Would you go shopping with me dressed as your favorite Avenger?
Eheheheheh... I think I'd have to be a tad bit stewed to be bold enough to do such a thing.  But mebbe.
:-)

11.) Do you think Frozen is overrated?
Yes.  In my outspoken opinion, Tangled was a much better story.  Besides, Rapunzel had a frying pan.

NOW!!!!!
(Mwahahahahahahaha)

Eleven questions for whosoever wants to be tagged.

1.)  If you could choose to be a bug, what kind would you be?
2.)  You are given a choice between pizza and chocolate.  What do you choose?
3.)  What does Panama make you think of?
4.)  Have you ever been so obsessed with a TV show you literally can't think of anything else for days?  Weeks, even?  If so, which TV show(s) are you obsessed with at the mo'?
5.)  Do you prefer pens or pencils when writing?
6.)  If you could have one superpower talent, what would it be?
7.)  Do you visualize yourself as an archer or a ninja?
8.)  Quick!  Off the top of your head, what's the ONE THING you can't live without?
9.)  You're on the run.  Would you rather have a.) a hairbrush, or b.) a toothbrush?
10.)  Are you a summer or winter person?  Why?
11.)  Do you unashamedly watch cartoons and cry over them?  (If yes, high five, sista!)

There you go.  Since I'm a good person, I'm actually going to force myself to reach out and tag a couple people.  After that, youse all are on your own.
Amanda
Maria
Jack
Arda Nessimava

Before I say farewell entirely, I am going to mention that I LOVED Prison Break the TV show, and because I loved it so much I made many collages, which I'm going to share here.

Yep, I'm a bit obsessed.  Unlike some other sisters I can name, I am very honest about being obsessed.  I like to share my obsession, and see how many other people I can get to be obsessed, too.

So, until next time... which may be awhile.  You never know.  I could go on a blogging spree and be your faithful blogger twice a week.  Or I may pop up in a couple months with a new obsession.  Life can be interesting that way.

So, talk to you later!

God bless!

ELEVEN RANDOM QUESTIONS!!!

Tra la la, tra la la.

I haz been a terrible blogger. Life, editing, and job careers have been plaguing my mind. Do you wonder why I have no fingernails?
artnail.artvista.org
So I 'm taking a LEAP into Devil-May-Care Land, and answering these that John asked me awhile ago for HIS tag. However, since I've already done this tag, I'm not going to actually DO the tag again, with the whole eleven random facts about me, eleven questions to answer, and eleven questions to ask nominees. Instead, I'm just answering John's questions. Because I like John.

HERE are his questions:

1. What Cartoons do you like?
I love Robin Hood and Sleeping Beauty best. If we're talking any random animation (like computer animated rather than the old Disney cartoons) I love any Pixar film you throw at me. Some I like better than others, but for the most part I loves them ALL. Muchly.

Comicvine
source
Fanpop

Collider,com

2. Do you like cats?
I like cats that purr and behave themselves. I don't like cats that scratch, lick my arm, don't purr, and act nasty when I want to pet them.

3. Do you read lots of books at once or just one?
I love to have a book open in every room. Just in case I misplace one, I have another to read right away.

Equestria Daily

4. Do you watch the Merlin show?
Not yet. I've seen most of Series One. I shall resume those soon, hopefully! L)

5. The Doctor Who show?
TOTALLY! (Eleven is my fav'rite.)

Pinterest

6. Sherlock show?
YES YES YES! I adores Sherlock and John muchly.

Buddy2Blogger

7. Do you swim or sink like the Titanic?
I swim like Fezzik in Princess Bride.

8. Do you have a real job? Is it scary?
I had a real job, I do not have one right now, but I'm praying I'll find a real job soon even though I do NOT like real jobs. I like to stay at home and be invisible. The world is not a nice place to introverts like me.

9. Have you read Redwall? or any of the books?
I have read ALL the Redwall books! I even met Mr. Brian Jacques once. He was so cool!

I WANT these!!!

10. Do you like picnics?
I love picnics. I like having chicken and apples on picnics.

11 Do you like ants at picnics?
No. They crawl into unexpected places and make me itch.

Thank you for the tag, John! I hope you have a lovely day now. :)

And same to the rest of you readers. Have a nice day, and talk to you later! :)

God bless!

Taggety Taggety Tag Tag Tag!

Can you guess what happened to me? (Come on, wasn't the title glaringly obvious!?)

That's right! Miss Jack Lewis Baillot from the blog, However Improbable, has tagged me with a verrah fun tag. THANK you, Jack!

The Guardian

Here are the RULES! You can't do these things without RULES!!!

1. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their site. (Linked and thanked. Thank you, Jack!)
2. Post 11 random things about yourself. (Hurray! Eleven! The number of my fav'rite doctor. :-)
3. Answer 11 questions from the person who tagged you. (Still Eleven!)
4. Ask the people you tag 11 questions. (Eleven, Eleven, Eleven!)
5. Nominate 11 other blogs. (Best. Number. Ever!)

ELEVEN RANDOM FACTS:

1.) I am the fifth child in my family.

2.) The Avengers (specifically Iron Man, Captain America and Hawkeye), The Adventures of Tintin (Tintin and Haddock equally), The Narnia movies (especially the Voyage of the Dawn Treader - SO MUCH Catholic symbolism!), The Lord of the Rings movies (specifically the characters Faramir, Frodo, and Eowyn) , Doctor Who (specifically the 11th Doctor), Sherlock and John, Psych (specifically Shawn) and Leverage (specifically ELIOT!!!) are some of my currently favourite movies. I could watch those over and over again. I have many more movies and TV shows that I could go on about, but these are my comfort shows. :)

3.) I get cold easily. For this reason, I do not like snow.

Source

4.) I like to drink my water with a little bit of lemon juice.

5.) I made myself an outfit out of gorgeous red material. It is my Iron Man outfit. One day I will get golden sandals to wear with it, and I might make myself an Arc Reactor out of clay. How cool would THAT be?

6.) I watched Les Miserables. The songs seemed to rush into the next rather faster than I liked, which is, actually, really my only complaint against it. However, I loved how they made the musicality of this musical so much better, and for the first time ever I sympathized with Fantine. My favourite characters were Jean Valjean, and Javert. My second favourite was probably Eponine and Fantine. I wasn't crazy about the barricade boys. Cosette and Marius were sweet. I LOVED the Catholicism portrayed throughout the story!

7.) I would rather watch a bunch of TV shows, one after another, than a full-length movie. Unless I'm in the mood for a movie. In which case, please stick the Avengers into the DVD player. Thank you.

Source

8.) I LOVE Iron Man. (Please, do not post a snarky comment about why YOU don't happen to like him. I like him. End of story.)

9.) I love fantasy names that begin with A's and V's for girls, and B's for boys.

10.) Jamie Bell has J.B. initials! Other favoured and cool people with these initials are Jason Bourne, James Bond, and James J. Braddock. J. and B. are COOL initials!

11.) The Eleventh Doctor is my favourite. :) (Same as with Iron Man, do not leave a snarky comment, or even a condescending one, about why you don't like him as much as Ten. I like him. End.)

JACK'S ELEVEN QUESTIONS:

1. The Doctor shows up and asks you to be his companion at the same time Sherlock asks you to be his blogger. Who'd you pick?
Probably the Doctor, (primarily the Eleventh Doctor) because he appears to enjoy life more. I think that, if I were Sherlock's blogger, I'd be spending a lot of time hunched over my computer, yelling at him to go away and stop breathing over my neck as I typed. I HATE that!

2. In the great Clara debate, who do YOU think she is. (And if you don't know who Clara is...I've two words for you. No, three. Watch Doctor Who.)
I think she is Not A Pond.

3. You're falling off a building, which Avenger do you want to save you?
In this order, either:
Iron Man
Captain America
Hawkeye

4. Would you go for a ride in a cold, hot air balloon?
Cold, hot air balloon. COLD, hot air balloon. COLD. I don't like cold. (See picture under number three random fact.) Maybe if I was able to bring a massive blanket. And a portable heater. And a mug of coffee. And a coffee maker. And hand warmers.

5. Does your wardrobe lead to Narnia?
Always.

Wordpress

6. You meet an Alien who is about to kill you. Do you offer him a Jelly Baby or run?
It depends if I were an alien as well. Specifically a fourth reincarnation of an alien. Then, out would come the Jelly Babies! Also, it depends on the kind of alien. Were it an alien from the first nine doctors, I would totally just offer a Jelly Baby. The later aliens would give me pause. I might have to run from them. Especially the Silence. They were a particularly creepy kind of alien.

7. If your best friend faked his death to save your life, then popped up a year later to inform you he was still alive, would you faint or punch him?
Both. I would faint in amaze, and when I came to I would punch him. How dare he cause me such anguish?

8. Buttered popcorn or plain?
Lightly buttered popcorn, no salt. Make sure it's crunchy.

9. Have you ever had a flip phone in your position and wished to yell, "Beam me up, Scotty!" into it?
ALWAYS!!!!! (Did you know that particular phrase was never used in the Star Trek series? Variations of it were, such as "Beam us up, Scotty," or "Beam me up, Mr. Scot," or, "Scotty, beam me up!" But never that actual, "Beam me up, Scotty!" phrase. Nerdy, yes?)

10. What is your favouritest book?
Ergh! I cannot say! Anything by Diana Wynne Jones, J.R.R. Tolkien, Brian Jacques, or Patricia McKillip. I am currently in love with Megan Whalen Turner's THE THIEF.

11. It is raining, do you go for a walk in it or sit by the fire with hot chocolate and a good book?
They don't call me Cat for no reason! I'll wait in the house, sitting by the fire with hot chocolate and a fantasy novel.

MY ELEVEN QUESTIONS:

1.) What sort of *real* animal would you enjoy being able to shape shift into? What about a *fantasy* animal?

2.) How quickly do you form opinions on fictional characters, and is your opinion subject to change if the character reveals an unexpected and hitherto unknown side to his personality?

3.) Given the chance, would you drop everything and fly to Italy, or would you rather have a few weeks to prepare, at least?

4.) Do you know they difference between alligators and crocodiles?

5.) Did you answer the above question on your own, or did Google assist you?

6.) How many books do you think you own?

7.) If you had a choice, which would you be more likely to buy in Barnes and Nobles: books, or music, or TV shows?

8.) How many TV shows are you catching up on right now?

9.) Did you always want to be an archer before Hunger Games, The Avengers, and Brave made it "cool" again?

10.) Who is your favourite actor/actress right now?

11.) If you had to choose between steak, fish, and chicken, which would you choose?

Savage Chickens

For this tag, I'm tagging:
1.) Arda
2.) Rose
3.) Kelly
4.) Another Kelly :)
5.) AmandaBeth
6.) Shaylynn
7.) Caitria
8.) Claudine
9.) Emily
10.) Terrie
11.) Allyn

All right, happy people! Go! Confront the Tag! Answer! Re-tag!

And call me when you get back, darlings, I enjoy our visits. :)

God bless!

Thanks For Being You Award

All righty! I was tagged by Treskie over at Occasional Randomness for the THANKS FOR BEING YOU award. Of course, I never try to be anyone else but me. However, it's nice to be thanked for being me. Thanks, Treskie! ;-)

Here are the rules for this award:

1.) Thank the person who gave the award to you. (Done, both here and on her blog.)
2.) Post eleven facts about yourself. (Um, what?!?!)
3.) Answer eleven questions I will make up for you, and make up eleven of your own for the people you tag. (Again, whaaat?!?!?)
4.) Tell seven more things about yourself. (For the final time, whaaaaaaat?!?!?)
5.) Last, you apparently tag as many people as you want, which is sort of nice. Sometimes it's hard finding those ten or twelve people, you know? (Once you tag them, please let them know on their blogs. Otherwise, it may take awhile for them to discover they were tagged.)

There are a LOT of questions to answer! :-)

Oh well, here goes.

First, the eleven facts you ever wanted (or didn't want) to know about Katrina DeLallo:

1.) I'm the kind of person who will not exchange anything. Ever. If it doesn't fit, oh well! Too scary to go back to the store and say, "Um, I don't want this. Take it back."

2.) I'm much chattier online than in real life.

3.) If possible, I would spend all my time either in my own little corner in my own little chair, being whatever I wanted to be, or at a bookstore. (Did I just hear someone groan?)

4.) Okay, maybe I'd spend some time at Hobby Lobby or Michael's too, or any other craft store available. (Heavens, I think I'm haunted by restless spirits. Someone else just groaned!)

5.) I like fantasy writers who know how to write beautiful sentences. Think Patricia McKillip, Elizabeth Bunce, some of Robin McKinley, and Tolkien.

6.) I will read fantasy over pretty much every other type of book ever written.

7.) I think the three biggest differences between Science Fiction and Fantasy is this: Science Fiction takes place in high-tech settings, contains steel and rivets, and their amazing creatures are dinosaurs. Fantasy takes place in medieval settings, contains woodlands and castles, and their amazing beasts are dragons.

8.) Big families are the best.

9.) Good music is the language of the soul.

10.) A home is not a home without a room full of books, or a crucifix above (nearly) every door.

11.) I think my parents are the best ones God could ever have given me. They've done something wonderful with my family. Most people who meet us want to be just like us. (Wait. That's not weird. I mean, who wouldn't want to be just like us? We're pretty freaking amazing!)

Dum dum dum! Now for Treskie's questions:

1.) Favorite book?
Um, um, um... only one? Can't do it. Primarily fantasies, though. Tolkien. Elizabeth Bunce. Patricia McKillip.

2.) Opinion on fantasy? (No bashing J. R. R. Tolkien, KAY?) Awesomeness. Period. There is NOTHING like fantasy. I read it all the time. Seriously. And Tolkien is amazing.

3.) Coffee or Tea? Coffee. I am a coffee monster. (Whole family nods in agreement.)

4.) Ice cream: Vanilla or chocolate? Are you kidding me? Chocolate, of course. Vanilla should not be allowed. Unless you're serving it with a brownie. And whipped cream. And coffee. ;-)

5.) Do you think baseball is awesome or boring? ( I love baseball.) Live baseball is fun. Watching baseball on TV... not so much fun. Men's Olympic beach volleyball, however...

6.) Do you call this:
...a soccer ball or football? Silly! That's a foo'ball, of course! (No "T" in that word, people. Just insert a glottal stop. FOO'(glottal stop)ball. Like that.)

7.) Do you like action, romance, comedy, or drama? (You can pick more than one...) Probably action, like the Bourne Series, though I do like a good drama. Think THE KING'S SPEECH, or the TV show 24 (Hoot hoot! Jack Bauer!! Oh yeah.)

8.) When you go out in public, do you tend to dress up a little bit or do you not care? I tend to be dressed up most of the time anyway, but if I'm in the mood, I will apply makeup. A little eyeliner, a little eyeshadow, some curled lashes... that sort of thing.

9.) Who's a better hero, Sir Percy Blakeney or Captain America? Well, I think I'd have to say Captain America... just 'cause I LOVE my Avengers. :-) Especially the man in the suit that's not exactly iron.
10.) Favorite movie/s? Heavens! Lots and lots. The Bourne trilogy, the Lord of the Ring trilogy, every Pixar movie created, Ghost Protocol, Ip Man 1 and 2, Inception, Despicable Me, Executive Decision, The King's Speech, For Greater Glory... the list will go on much longer, so I'll stop there.

11.) State, in five words or less, your life story. (merherherherher.) Fifth child, writer, singer, mama-wannabe!

Okay, now for my eleven questions for the poor souls I shall tag. **rubs hands semi-evilly**

1.) What's the first book you ever read?
2.) What's a movie you saw as a little ikkle kid, forgot about, and when you saw it again as an adult you remembered the whole plot in a sort of gosh-I-know-what's-going-to-happen-next kind of way?
3.) If you weren't what you were now (such as a writer, mother, accountant) what would you want to be?
4.) What's your favourite hobby?
5.) What looks greyer to you? THIS spelling of gray, or this spelling of grey?
6.) How do you pronounce tomato? Toe-mah-toe, or toe-may-toe?
7.) Do you secretly wish you were a hobbit?
8.) Would you rather be an elf?
9.) Do you prefer British or American spellings of the words honour/honor, colour/color, tyre/tire, laser/lazer, aluminium/aluminum?
10.) What's your idea of fun?
11.) How many times can you say the words, "Irish wristwatch?" (Bet you can't even say it once. Not fast, anyway.)

Almost done! Seven MORE facts about me!

1.) I love technology!

2.) I aspire to be a children's picture book illustrator one day.

3.) I have never ever ever been drunk. Ever. Not once.

4.) I have an interest in learning pretty much everything. I simply lack the courage to try.

5.) In my current work-in-progress, my protagonist is ending up a lot like me. I can empathize with her really well.

6.) I can get depressed really easily. On the flip side, I can be amazingly funny. At least, judging by the laughter, I think I can be amazingly funny. Maybe it's just my hair. Lay flat, darn it!

7.) My current motto: have GPS, will travel.

Now, for the final part. Tag time! For this award, I tag:
1.) The amazing Kelly Hashway
2.) The fabulous Anne E. Johnson
3.) The inspiring Katie Clark
4.) The wonderful Ruth Schiffmann

That's all for now. Until Saturday, God bless!
