Six-Sentence Saturday 06/29/2013

This is the Day which the LORD has made. Let us be glad and rejoice therein ~

Some days, I wake up happy. Today is one of those days. :) I feel like screaming around the house, caroling "There was a field in my old town / where we always played hand in hand / the wind was gently touching the grass / we were so young, so fearless."

(Song actually starts at 1:10)

1.) I just finished reading a book by Terry Pratchett, which I actually liked rather a lot.

2.) I have been leery of Terry Pratchett's work for awhile, and aside from a few surprisingly clean, not-exactly-innuendo descriptions, this book was better than I'd been anticipating.

3.) I am wondering whether I should paint my toenails, now that open-toed sandal season is here.

4.) I want to go to the BEACH!!!!!! :)

5.) Can you believe it's already almost the fourth of July? That came careening up on us, didn't it?

That's all for today. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

God bless. :)

  1. Ah! Six sentence Saturday! *Lalalala!* I've missed seeing you around. :P

I am wanting to paint my toenails too. Red? I think so!
    The Beach is the BEST!
    Hooray for happy days!

    1. I don't know about RED. Maybe gold. And then I'll wear my Iron Man outfit! :D

  2. My toenails are green. The color is called Dragon Lady. ;)

    1. EL OH EL! I have never heard of a polish named such a thing. I'd buy the colour just for the name. :)

  3. Happy 4th to you and yours! (and yes on painting those toenails) LOL

  4. Your beach looks fun. I want to go to your beach. Your 4th looked fun too, I cheated and looked at it on Treskie's blog.

Yes, I liked your book a lot. You should write lots more.

Have you seen Monster's University yet? Did you like it? (Now I want to see Despicable Me 2.)

You should watch Doctor Who after 11 leaves, because I have to so we can pout together. Jack said we should at least give the next one a chance, so she said I have to watch it with her. So that means I have to, but I don't think I'll like him and I'm going to make funny faces at him.
I've never heard of Robert Carlyle but he kind of looks like he could be a Doctor. (Oh wait, I have seen pictures of him from Once Upon a Time. Is he a nice actor? Does he like bowties? And does he like Clara? He should like Clara lots and be nice to her like 11 to be the Doctor. Clara needs someone to be nice to her.)

    1. We do have a fun beach. I like to play at the beach. My family likes to play at the beach, too.

I'm glad you liked my book! And I am working on a lot more. Lots and lots.

I haven't seen Monster's University yet, but I want to. And I really want to see Despicable Me 2. I LOVE the minions. :)

I will try to watch Doctor Who after Eleven goes. I would definitely watch them if Robert Carlyle played the new doctor. He is charming, he can be so sweet, and it would be nice to have him older than Clara, because I like their friendship relationship. I don't really want a romantic relationship. We had that with Rose and the Doctor, and I loved River and the Doctor, and I think that's enough of THAT kind of relationship, thank you very much! :) I think he would be more of the suit and tie kind of doctor. Sort of the way he is as Mr. Gold in Once Upon A Time.

See my comment box? Want to know a secret?

*whispers* It's actually a TARDIS comment box! If you write long enough, you'll see... it's bigger on the inside!

Isn't that cool?

Now that you know that, aren't you going to throw a comment in there? You KNOW you want to. :)
