Six-Sentence Saturday 03/09/2013

Ever have one of those days where your brain just goes, "Uuuuuugh!"?

I'm sort of having that kind of day.

1.) I'm editing a story, and though I'm pleased to say I'm cutting a lot and adding stuff that's much better, I'm feeling rather blah about the whole idea.

2.) However, my instructor loves it, so that's what really counts, right?

3.) I'm working on a project for my Etsy Shop! I shall hopefully have it completed and posted by Monday! :)
source: Tumblr

4.) Oh my goodness, you should SEE the cute boxes I'm making for my Shop! When I get to camera again, I'll try to remember to post some pics.
source: Tumblr

5.) Maybe I'll do that when I post my new Etsy item.

6.) I no longer have fingernails. It might just be me, but there will be times when something in me goes, "PANIC!!!" and I chew on my nails until I have these ugly little things that I endeavor to repair with a file and lotion and lemon finger scrub. Sorrows.

That's all for now! Hope youse all have a lovely weekend! It's Sunday tomorrow. I love Sundays. You can have cookies on Sundays. And cake. And foods. Yanno, all that stuff you crave during Lent. :)

God bless!

  1. Why is it that people like us only ever reach for the lemon scrub and file *after* we have destroyed our nails? I finally have white showing on my nails agan, after months of practically no nails at all.

I'm excited for you that the etsy account seems to be doing well. Your clay things are verra fine indeed!

    1. I loves my Etsy!

And I need a file right now. My fingers are crying out for the need of one. I hate it. :(

  2. I've a fear of nails, well nails that are either too short or too long. I keep my close cut but not too short. Shorter does seem better though, long nails break so easily and hurt...and that was all slightly random on my part.

    Editing...blech. *Passes chocolate*

Thank you for your comment, it made me smile...and long for Sharmra. And, I think I've passed this one to nearly all of your sisters now, but I shall say it to you as well. Out of everything that has happened to me over the past few months, one of the best things was the chance of meeting you nad your sisters. You've all been so sweet and wonderful and I love getting comments from you. I love reading your blogs and I'd go through all of that again just for the chance to meet all of you.

And the manuscript thing, I was glad to hear I'm not the only one who works on more then one at a time. I thought it was something of a bad habit, so knowing I'm not alone if it is makes me feel better. 8-D

Be glad you didn't get to season six of Pysch till now. You wont have to suffer the cliff hanger. they're taking lessons from BBC I believe.

    1. How like them. Since it was Sunday yesterday, Treskie and I stayed up late (for a daylight savings day, that is,) and watched two episodes of Season Six. We had previously watched some of Season Six, so we watched the one where Juliet meets her father (Oh My Gosh, hello, much-older Captain Kirk!) and the one where Shawn and Gus go to that weeeeeeeeird cult place to protect their witness. Many giggles. :)

We were talking about how fun it would be to meet you, too. We were like, "Let's just call and say, Hey! Why don't we meet up somewhere? Like, middle of America somewhere?" How fun would that be?

And thanks for the chocolate. I am not an editing kind of person... at least, not MY work editing. I can cut other people's stuff no prob. My own, not so much. How attached am I? Very attached. All those beautiful, beautiful words, and I don't want to eliminate a single one. ;)

    1. Thanks!! I like it. :)

Yes, I love gifs. I have a feeling it is becoming a weakness. Okay, it IS a weakness. No becoming about it.

All my favourite actors, or movies, or TV shows(most of them) on one page! How much fun is that?!

  5. Kat, I hope you feel better about your story. Maybe you're just working on it so much that you need a break. You might return to it and love it. :)

    1. Yes, that's what happened. I was actually going to sleep, and a sneaky little thought whispered into my head and I thought (sleepily, of course), "AHA! That's what I'll do!"

So I am much happier with it now. :)

    1. It's from the Fellowship of the Ring, right after Gandalf died and the fellowship escaped the Mines of Moria. :)

See my comment box? Want to know a secret?

*whispers* It's actually a TARDIS comment box! If you write long enough, you'll see... it's bigger on the inside!

Isn't that cool?

Now that you know that, aren't you going to throw a comment in there? You KNOW you want to. :)
