Six-Sentence Saturday

Hello! It's that time of week again, so here you go:


1. I'm having a minor obsession with the TV show Monk right now.

2. I cannot walk past a penny on the road without picking it up.

3. I can't WAIT to go on vacation!

4. I'm in the middle of a three-way Letter Game with my older brother and younger sister, and the story has suddenly turned dark. LOL

5. I don't much care for ear buds.

6. What does a Glede-crafter look like?


I guess the last sentence is kind of a cheating one, but that's truly the thing on my mind right now.

    I have trouble walking past loose change on the ground, too. It seems like I was meant to pick them up, but somehow I feel a little embarrassed. (Not sure why!)

    Vacations. Vacations. I can really use one, too. Hope you go on yours soon, Cat. (Any idea where?)

      There's something special about those lost pennies, isn't there? I always pick 'em up. No embarrassment there. They might be lucky!

    DD is a Monk FANatic. I have to say that, in the episodes that work really well, this bunch is so super smooth. I'm thinking of the hard belly laughs and sweet tears of empathy this ensemble managed to extract out of me, all in a span of forty-two minutes.

    All those lost pennies are lucky. Some people don't think they are worth the effort to pick up. Figure out how long it takes to bend over and pick one up. Say two seconds. Okay now figure how many you could pick up in an hour. One hour has 3600 seconds. So picking up a lowly penny is like making $18.00 an hour. I would feel lucky finding work like that. It would be an easy job.

    I used to watch Monk all the time, great show.
